Woman looks at her wedding photos and can't believe what she sees

Cardiff (Wales) - All she really wanted to do was reminisce. But when Lisa J. Evans (35) from Cardiff, Wales, recently looked at the photos of her wedding in 2018, she couldn't believe her eyes. Finally, last week, she published a photo show on TikTok in which her dilemma became clear.

The thing in the clip (see below) seems pretty clear: Evans can be seen in it as the bride together with another woman.

They do everything a bride and groom do: they put the ring on, cut the cake together and dance wildly at the party afterwards.

The problem: the 35-year-old actually married her husband Steve at the wedding! But how did all these photos come about?

The other woman in the pictures is Emma Savage (35), one of Evans' bridesmaids. Savage is a professional baker who also made the wedding cake. That's why she was allowed to cut it for fun.

And the other pictures?

"I had seven bridesmaids in total and there are similar photos with them hugging, dancing and laughing together. But Emma's photo stood out because of the cake-cutting photo and others where it looks like she's my wife," Evans said in an interview with Newsweek this week.

The final impetus for this realization, however, came from someone who wasn't even born at the time. "I didn't realize how funny it was until years later, when my son pointed it out to me," said the 35-year-old.

When looking at the photos, the five-year-old got to the heart of the matter with his question: "Did you marry Emma or Daddy?"

TikTok users also found the curious story amusing . Since November 20, the viral hit has received 5.8 million clicks and more than 700,000 likes.
