Puppy sees golden retriever on TV: his reaction melts hearts

Culver City (USA) - There are many magical "firsts" for puppy parents, especially in the first year of life. They listen to their four-legged friends with fascination as they try to bark for the first time, celebrate their first time walking on a lead or have fun bathing in a puddle for the first time. The owner of little "Shadow" from the USA was also able to experience a special first time - and fortunately captured it on video.

The US-American, who lives in California with her cute Golden Retriever puppy, immediately pulled out her camera when she saw how her little darling reacted to a clip on TV.

There was a program about Golden Retrievers on and Shadow was immediately fascinated to see the four-legged friends running across the screen.

According to his owner, the puppy had never come into contact with other dogs of his kind before and was visibly perplexed when he saw the furry friends - at least on TV.

In the video, which would later also end up on TikTok, Shadow can initially be seen lying relaxed next to his owner on the couch while he chews on the blanket.

However, it quickly falls out of his mouth when the TV program shows the golden retrievers. The little puppy stares at the screen in amazement and eventually even sits up so that he doesn't miss anything of what's on TV.

Underneath the clip, which has been viewed almost 157,000 times on TikTok, you can see how taken viewers are with this magical moment: "He'll never be the same again," surmises one user. "Time to get another Golden."

As the TV clip appears to show a female dog with her puppy, one could also assume that Shadow is perhaps reminded of his own mother and perhaps briefly reminisces about fond memories when he was still with her.

Of course, it is also possible that the four-legged friend is thinking: "Oh, there are more like me!"
