Firefighter rescues dog from the floods: The animal's look afterwards says it all
Hillsborough County (USA) - Certain regions in the United States have been hit by Hurricane Milton over the past few days. Numerous residents had to be evacuated due to the dreaded natural disaster. Rescuers were deployed around the clock. One of them ended with a happy four-legged friend - as a telling photo proves.

Firefighter Dusty Mascaro became a hero when he rescued a fur-baby from the floods. Aerial photos taken by the Hillsborough County Fire Department show that the water had spread relentlessly.
Alone, the pet would have had little chance of escaping the floods alive. But luckily Mascaro was on hand.
When the firefighter took a selfie with the rescued dog in the car, it was worth more than a thousand words.
The velvet paw's eyes are wide open and directed straight towards its rescuer.
The animal is bursting with gratitude.
"After Hurricane Milton, our teams have rescued 104 pets so far and made sure that no one - neither human nor animal - is left behind," summarizes the local fire department.
The fire department was not the only animal rescuer called upon. Near the city of Tampa , a police officer rescued a dog that was tied to the fence with its legs already in the water.
