Dog falls in love with stray dog: his mistress knows what to do immediately

Kentucky (USA) - The adorable relationship between a dog and a stray puppy melted many hearts on the Internet.

During a two-month work trip to Kentucky, Kyla Campbell (23) took her boxer-terrier mix Chester with her for company.

She enjoyed walking her rescue dog daily in the Paintsville neighborhood, but when she saw the many stray four-legged friends running around, she was horrified.

"It's something I've never seen before," Kyla told Newsweek.

However, many of the dogs were incredibly friendly and fascinated by Chester. They often approached the pair and even followed them back to their hotel on some nights.

In most cases, Chester was happy to see the other dogs and then just move on - but not with a black stray named Frank, whom he immediately befriended.

"We found Frank two blocks from the hotel and he was so happy and personable and really the sweetest little dog I've ever seen," Kyla said. "Chester and Frank were instantly close as soon as they saw each other."

"I've never seen Chester so interested in another dog. Frank wanted to be loved so much, and Chester loved him," Kyla added. "So it was the easiest decision for me to keep him."

Once home, Frank settled in surprisingly quickly. The two dogs cuddled together and Kyla could sense that the stray was very loving.

At first, Frank wasn't house-trained and had to learn that he couldn't eat everything he saw, but Kyla managed that too after a while.

On her TikTok channel "adventurechester", the US-American shared a video in which the dogs playfully run around, nibble at each other and lie on the couch together. The cute clip went viral within a short space of time.
