Trip to New York ends in nightmare: Woman disappears after missing connecting flight!

USA - Seeing New York once - a big dream for many people, including a young woman. But the trip became her undoing. She disappeared on her way to the "Big Apple" and her family's worries are growing, especially since new pictures of the missing woman have emerged.

31-year-old Hawaiian Hannah Kobayashi was in the US state of California after missing her connecting flight to New York.

As the New York Post reported, she was reported missing to the police there around two weeks ago.

Shortly before her disappearance, she wrote "strange messages" to her family, including: "I was tricked into giving away practically all my money."

In another message, she claimed to have been tricked by "someone I thought I loved".

The family now received information that she was spotted near a subway station with an unknown person on November 11 - one day after her disappearance.

Hannah Kobayashi's luggage may have landed in New York, but she herself never arrived.

The images in question were shown to Kobayashi's aunt, who explained that she could not provide any further information on the surveillance images as the investigation had not yet been completed.

However, this had "caused great concern and confirmed the family's suspicions that something was wrong".

The relatives now hope that the video footage will help officers to find the 31-year-old quickly.

Her sister said this week that the police "are not taking the matter as seriously as we would like because my sister is considered an adult and can make her own decisions".

Her phone has been off since November 11 and she has not contacted her family since.
