Influencer drugs her own baby to get donations
Queensland (Australia) - Serious allegations against an Australian influencer: Allanah Alison is suspected of giving her one-year-old daughter medication to make her look ill.
The mother of the family has been sharing her daily life on TikTok for a while. It was always about Daisy, her allegedly sick daughter, as reported by"The Express Tribune".
Over time, she had gained a number of followers on her TikTok channel and relied on their financial support so that she could take care of the sick Daisy.
She also started a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe and managed to raise quite a bit of money.
But at some point, an anonymous person came forward and shared details of the family's life on social media.
Carers who then followed her Instagram account came to the conclusion that there were discrepancies.
An investigation brought certainty
The symptoms of the alleged illness were caused by the administration of benzodiazepines.
It is therefore likely that the little girl was never ill and would not have needed two brain operations.
This information emerged from a medical report, which later forced the youth welfare office to intervene. Daisy and her other three children were taken away from her parents.
The father said he knew nothing about his wife's actions. He emphasized that he had wanted to have the operations carried out because he really thought it was necessary.
When asked by the Australian news service"9NEWS" whether she had harmed her daughter, she replied: "No, I can't talk to you, I said this is a matter you can't talk about."
The assets raised on GoFundMe - around 37,000 euros - remain frozen for the time being.
