7 years after murder of girl (†13, †14): Shocking details revealed!
Delphi (USA) - The murder of 13-year-old Abigail and 14-year-old Liberty in the US state of Indiana seven years ago shocked many people. Now Richard Allen has been found guilty of the murder of the two girls.

52-year-old Richard Allen was arrested in October 2022 for the murders of the two girlfriends in Delphi and confessed to his crime in prison, AP News reports.
Since then, he has spent more than two years in solitary confinement and showed no emotion yesterday, Monday, when the verdict was read out after the three-week trial.
After the long wait for justice, Allen now faces the maximum sentence of 130 years in prison.
The case attracted a lot of attention, especially among true crime fans.
What happened to Abby and Libby in 2017?

On February 13, 2017, the two eighth-graders Abby and Libby set off on a walk along an old railroad line to take photos - and never returned.
A day later, police found the children's bodies with their throats slit.
Before their deaths, one of the girls had recorded a Snapchat video in which a man can be seen. He said: "Guys, down the hill" - the moment before the two were abducted and then murdered.
As Allen later confessed to his psychologist, he had intended to rape the girls.
However, when the 52-year-old saw a van, he panicked and killed them both with a cutter knife. He then laid branches over their bodies.
Richard Allen went through a severe mental health crisis in prison

Footage of Allen's time in custody was shown at the trial to show his mental deterioration, The Mirror reported.
The individual clips showed the 52-year-old lying naked on the floor in a fetal position, repeatedly banging his head against the cell wall, eating his feces and smearing it on the walls.
The defense claimed that the defendant suffered a severe mental crisis under the pressure and stress of solitary confinement, developed psychosis and that this led to the false confessions.
However, he had revealed perpetrator knowledge, as his psychologist, Dr. Monica Wala, announced.
Richard Allen will be sentenced in December.
