As People reported, Makayla Lomax (31), Marrisa Johnson (26) and Morgan Donahue (21) were arrested because the authorities had accused them of abusing children with special needs.

An investigation, which began in February, found that the employees allegedly "threw objects at the students, yelled at them and called them names".

Johnson and Donahue are accused of giving spicy chips to a child as early as 2022 despite knowing he had a digestive disorder.

Lomax is also alleged to have punched a pupil in the face and sprayed him with a water bottle to discipline him.
