His life revolved around fast cars. Everyone in the New York street racing scene knew him. He had 240,000 followers on Instagram alone. Now "1Stockf30" has died in tragic circumstances.

On Tuesday evening, the 25-year-old (real name: Andre Beadle) wanted to take part in an illegal car race in the New York borough of Queens.

But shortly after the start, the influencer lost control of his car, reports The Sun, crashed into a Honda and smashed under a bridge. Shocked onlookers had to watch everything, many filmed the horror crash, others rushed to help.

When the emergency services arrived at the scene of the accident, there were dramatic scenes, reports the New York Post. Debris lay on the road. What was left of the influencer's high-powered BMW M240 (more than 400 hp) was already ablaze.

All help came too late for the popular influencer: "1Stockf30" was thrown through the windshield onto the road in the crash and was probably killed instantly. His 21-year-old co-driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Fortunately, the Honda driver, who was not involved in the race, was uninjured.

"1Stockf30" killed in an accident

After the terrible accident, the grief in the New York racing scene is enormous. 1Stockf30", who died far too young, caused a sensation for more than five years. First with a BMW 3 Series, then later with an Audi TT. For a few weeks, the 25-year-old had been driving the brand-new BMW of his death.

"You will always be a legend for us," wrote a companion under a post by the deceased. "RIP to the young legend who made NYC famous," wrote another PS fan. A third admonished: "Guys, always buckle up."

On the day of the fatal accident, the influencer posted a lengthy video on YouTube, showing him working on his purple BMW and expressing confidence that he would win the race that evening.

"The streets say they miss me!" he wrote. But things turned out differently.

Time and again, tragic accidents occur during illegal car races, often resulting in the death of bystanders. As was the case in Dresden in 2020, for example, when little Ali (†6) was hit by a car in the middle of the city.
