The father of the family traveled to Antalya at the end of September with his partner and two children to celebrate his 32nd birthday, as reported by the Daily Mail.

He is said to have gotten drunk before the trip even began and continued to drink on the plane.

When he got into an argument with his partner during the flight, he smashed both his own smartphone and that of his wife. Ben was then thrown out of the plane when it landed.

As his family were unable to contact him due to the missing cell phones, they were very worried and started a search ad on Facebook.

The Briton was last seen in the city center of Antalya, in the Kaleici district.

He is said to have been wearing a black Versace shirt, shorts and white Nike sneakers before disappearing without a trace.

A few days later, a body was discovered at the foot of a slope near the family's hotel in the Selçuk area.

Ben's father traveled to Turkey after hearing the news, where unfortunately his worst fears were confirmed: he identified his son.

A post-mortem was carried out in Antalya, but the results were not made public.

The body was then transferred to Wales, where another post-mortem was carried out.

It was determined that Ben died from the injuries he sustained when he fell from a great height.

Friends of Ben launched a GoFundMe campaign after the accident to help his family with funeral costs and to help them deal with the tragedy. So far, 13,925 pounds (around 16,731 euros) have been raised.

The incident is currently under investigation.
