Just eleven months old, "Khamari Lang" was in a parked car with his two siblings (two and three years old) - shortly afterwards he was dead.

According to the San Antonio Express News, the tragedy happened earlier this week in the parking lot of a hospital.

One of the toddlers got hold of the loaded gun in the trunk of the car and fired the shot, hitting Khamari.

Paramedics tried to save the baby - but could do nothing more for the child.

The family had moved to San Antonio with their six children shortly before the accident.

"He brought great joy into our lives and was just learning to walk. His loving spirit will be greatly missed," the little boy's aunt shared on the GoFundMe page, which has already raised more than 2,000 US dollars (around 1,850 euros) to support the family and cover funeral costs.

The police are currently investigating which of the children fired the shot and where the gun came from.
