Mother walks 10,000 steps a day for four months: everyone is amazed at the result
Oregon (USA) - "I was extremely unhappy with myself," admits Rebecca Reyes (30) from Oregon. After the birth of her second daughter, the mother put on a lot of weight and ended up weighing more than 80 kilograms. Finally, she dared to try an experiment: 10,000 steps a day on the treadmill. The results were astonishing after just a few months.

In a recent TikTok video (see below), the US-American posted a before and after comparison this week. In the clip, she can first be seen on the treadmill on the first day.
Then comes a tough cut: Reyes is suddenly slim and trim, smiling proudly at the camera. She has lost around 20 kilograms between the two shots.
This "transformation" causes so much amazement among the TikTok audience that some people assume the video shows two different women.
For Reyes, this accusation is "hilarious and kind of a compliment", as she told Newsweek in an interview this week.
But has the 30-year-old really only lost so much weight by walking 10,000 steps a day?
Viral TikTok video shows Rebecca Reyes' transformation

The mother of two told the US magazine that there were around five and a half months between the two photos. However, she lost most of the weight in the first four months and "didn't do any other form of exercise ", Reyes said.
"I just ran with it and now I've kind of become the girl who runs on her treadmill to get 10,000 steps a day."
Recently, however, she has started strength training to build muscle.
The young woman's transformation has gone down very well with the TikTok audience. Her curious clip has already received 2.2 million clicks in less than a week.
"Most of the feedback is amazingly positive," says Reyes happily. So this transformation has paid off twice over for her.
