Horrific find in shark's stomach: body of an apparently missing tourist discovered!

East Timor - A fisherman in East Timor has apparently discovered the human remains of a missing tourist from the USA - in the stomach of a shark! The 68-year-old woman is said to have been swept away by the current during a diving trip. She was thought to be missing for days.

As reported by the British media"Daily Mail" and"The Sun", the woman was 68-year-old vacationer Colleen M. from the US state of South Dakota. She was with friends and a tour guide in the sea off the Indonesian island of Reong when the tragedy occurred on September 26.

Rescue teams searched for her for days, but called off the search on October 3 due to dangerous conditions at sea. Yesterday, Sunday, a fisherman in the neighboring country of East Timor made the horrifying discovery.

"The shark was caught, but it was not in normal health. I thought it had swallowed plastic or a fishing net. It was cut open to find the problem and inside were the remains of a woman," the media quoted the fisherman as saying.

Authorities have confirmed the discovery of the body, but are still investigating whether it is actually the missing 68-year-old. According to media reports, however, the diving suit, the gender and the apparent foreign origin of the remains give rise to suspicion.
