Hidden camera in the toilet: 18-year-old secretly films women and minors!

USA - Last Tuesday, a high school student was arrested after using a hidden camera to record over 40 videos of underage girls and women in a shopping mall.

American high school student Andy Cardenas (18) has now been charged with invasion of privacy.

As the New York Post reports, an angry customer discovered the camera while using the family restroom in a shopping center on August 9. She immediately handed the device over to the local authorities.

The officers found several disturbing recordings of unsuspecting victims in various toilets on the camera. At least two of these videos were recorded in private bathrooms of residential homes.

According to police , the camera contained approximately 35 videos of adult women being filmed using the restroom, four videos of minors using the restroom, and one video of a man and woman engaging in sexual activity together in a bathroom.

Investigators were eventually able to identify the 18-year-old because he filmed himself placing the camera.

It was not possible to determine exactly how long the student had been recording these videos, as the recordings do not contain any time stamps.

The next court hearing is scheduled for October 22.
