Woman cruelly killed and beheaded: Main suspect is her son!

USA - After a mother failed to show up for her surprise birthday party, she was discovered decapitated in her apartment a short time later. The suspect is her own son!

When Teresa DeJesus Cruz Rubio (†49) did not come to the surprise party disguised as a family celebration and did not respond to phone calls, her sister drove to her home in the US state of Arizona.

Last Friday, she found the victim decapitated in the apartment and immediately called the police to the scene.

As People reports, the 49-year-old's body was lying under a blanket, while her head was found nearby. There was blood all over the apartment. The victim had suffered several stab wounds and is now undergoing an autopsy.

The police stated that there were no signs of forced entry into the house. The relatives initially stated that they believed their son, Alejandro David Gonzalez (25), who was recently released from prison, was possibly connected to the crime.

The statement said Gonzalez suffered from "mental illness" and was "capable of killing Rubio". The sister's car, in which the 25-year-old was later spotted, also disappeared in connection with the crime.

A short time later, the perpetrator was discovered at a petrol station and arrested by the officers. They reported that he had dried blood on his legs and socks.

During questioning, Gonzalez stated that he had taken drugs with a man who had allegedly done something to his mother. This stranger allegedly stabbed Rubio, and it was only when his mother had already died that the 25-year-old stabbed her himself and decapitated her.

Alejandro David Gonzalez is now being held in prison, while the police say there is no evidence that he had an accomplice.
