Uncomfortable start to the week: Low pressure system "Dagmar" brings storms, rain and thunderstorms to Germany
Germany - Autumn is showing its wild side: at the start of the week, low pressure system "Dagmar" is bringing rain and stormy winds. Individual thunderstorms cannot be ruled out.

The storm depression that was still raging off the coast of Ireland yesterday is now slowly reaching Germany today, Monday.
According to the German Weather Service (DWD ), gusts of up to 70 km/h can be expected throughout the day, especially in the northern half of the country, in the Black Forest and in the higher low mountain ranges.
Towards the afternoon and evening, the south-east can expect individual strong thunderstorms, which will also bring stormy gusts. Lightning and thunder may also occur in the west and northern low mountain ranges on Tuesday night.
The southern Emsland and Münsterland regions will have to prepare for continuous rain on Monday evening.
On the other hand, the east and north-east will see some sunshine and remain dry.
Temperatures could climb to 18 degrees in some places, but it will remain fairly cool in the eastern low mountain range at 10 degrees.
It will be even colder on Tuesday night, when the mercury will read just 5 degrees.

Tuesday changeable to mild
Tuesday will then be rather changeable: while it will remain mainly dry from the Upper Rhine to eastern Bavaria, along with a few clouds, there may be showers from Saarland and the Palatinate to Saxony.
Nevertheless, it will be quite mild: according to the DWD, highs will be between 12 and 19 degrees.
On the coast and in the western half of the country, stormy gusts can also be expected on Tuesday.
