USA - A family shared an exciting video on TikTok showing what is hidden in the depths of their pond.
The clip begins with a light-hearted glimpse into a summer's day. Alicia's(@chickenlittles) children are swimming and splashing around in the pond.
But then something suddenly appears in the depths!
Alicia films a sturgeon making its way through the pond. The fish is no stranger.
The family had already spotted the sturgeon when they moved in and quickly christened it "Steve".
In an interview with"Newsweek", Alicia revealed that she doesn't know exactly how Steve ended up in the pond, but he seems to be doing well - and that's why they won't be relocating him.
Fortunately, Alicia's children are not afraid of the sturgeon either, as it has no teeth. They swim in the water with Steve and "are just as fascinated by him", the American proudly explained.

The video has more than one million views and hundreds of comments. However, concerned messages can also be found under the recording. One user even claimed that he was pulled down into the water by a sturgeon as a child!
However, many vehemently disagree with this and say, among other things, that they themselves have had sturgeons for 32 years: "He can't hurt you." Even so, sturgeons are considered harmless and peaceful animals. "He's a gentle giant."
