After championship with Bayer 04: Josip Stanisic does not want to return to Bayern!

Leverkusen - Can reigning German champions Bayer 04 justifiably hope that Josip Stanisic (24) will stay with the club beyond the summer? Apparently, the defender no longer wants to return to Bayern Munich.

Even before the Werkself can raise the championship trophy to the Leverkusen sky for the first time next Saturday, there are apparently the first rumors about the squad for the new season.

After the Europa League and DFB Cup finalists announced the signing of Christian Groß (35) as a member of the scouting department on Monday, the permanent transfer of Stanisic could soon follow.

The 24-year-old is currently still on loan from record champions Munich.

According to Sky, Stanisic (four goals, six assists) can apparently no longer imagine a return to the Isar.

His role in Xabi Alonso's (42) team is too important! Bayern's club bosses around Simon Rolfes (42) and Fernando Carro (59) are said to have already heard about the 24-year-old's plan to stay in Leverkusen.

It is quite possible that Bayern could also lose out on one of the country's strongest defensive talents. However, the champions from Leverkusen would have to put around 15 to 20 million on the table.

According to the report, however, there has been no contact between the two clubs. The next Bayern coach is also said to be involved in deciding whether there will be room for the Leverkusen player in the squad in the future.
