Out of "Let's Dance": Mark Keller has to give up - replacements have already been confirmed!
Cologne - Shock exit for Mark Keller (59)! The actor has to end his journey on "Let's Dance" prematurely.
Nobody expected this exit! The former "Alarm for Cobra 11" actor has to pull out despite making it to the quarter-finals.
The reason for this is apparently an injury to his Achilles tendon. The show's official Instagram account states that the 59-year-old is even threatened with a rupture.
"An injury to the Achilles tendon is forcing Mark to stop because a complete rupture is imminent. Our team of doctors has therefore ordered Mark to rest his foot completely."
This means that the 17th season of "Let's Dance" has also been declared prematurely over for professional dancer Kathrin Menzinger (35).
"You already saw last week that I had problems and now I had to pull the plug. The risk of rupturing my Achilles tendon is far too great," explained Mark and dance partner Kathrin.
Massimo Sinato and Lulu Lewe back on the show
Only the previous week, comedian and audience favorite Tony Bauer (28) had to leave the show for health reasons. He was replaced by influencer Ann-Kathrin Bendixen (24), who had already been eliminated.
Mark Keller's exit also has consequences for Massimo Sinato (43) and Lulu Lewe (32), who were eliminated last weekend. The duo are now allowed to dance again and have even started training.
"The two of them have already started training. Welcome back, you two! 💃🥰"
