Drugs, cash, weapons: Police officers make an even more unexpected discovery
Phoenix (Arizona/USA) - Arizona police have struck a spectacular blow against organized crime. In addition to large quantities of drugs , a pile of cash and countless weapons , the officers made an even more astonishing discovery.

As the Phoenix police announced on Twitter and elsewhere, the officers caught a really big drug dealer.
When the officers searched the 34-year-old's property, they found several AKM assault rifles, a gold-plated Glock 19 and tons of cash, among other things.
However, the police had actually come to stop the suspect's prolific drug dealing. In this respect, they were successful: 193,000 pills of fentanyl and 855 grams of cocaine were seized, as reported by ABC15.
But then there was a young Nile crocodile living with the man. How the 34-year-old got hold of the animal is still completely unclear.
The officers naturally took the animal with them and handed it over to animal rights activists.

The Phoenix police inform on Twitter
The crocodile was taken in by reptile conservationists
The drug dealer will probably go to jail for a very long time

Nile crocodiles can grow up to six meters in size and are the largest crocodiles of all.
But in the pictures published by the Phoenix police, the young animal, which is around 2 meters tall, is swimming in a tiny aquarium. If the suspected drug dealer kept the animal like this, it would definitely be cruelty to animals.
The animal has now been placed temporarily with the Phoenix Herpetological Society, which looks after abandoned reptiles.
The penalties for drug trafficking are extremely severe in Arizona. The possession of the seized fentanyl pills alone can result in a life sentence.
In addition, the 34-year-old will probably have to answer for illegal possession of weapons and cruelty to animals. The criminal will probably be in prison for a very long time.
