23-year-old trapped in a crevice for hours
Brisbane (Australia) - A woman tried to retrieve her cell phone from between boulders in Australia's Hunter Valley and found herself in an awkward position. She had to hold out upside down for seven hours until she was finally rescued.

According to the New South Wales Ambulance Service, the 23-year-old was walking with friends in the Hunter Valley when her phone fell.
While trying to pick up the smartphone, she lost her grip and fell head first between two boulders.
Unfortunately, her friends were unable to free her from the hopeless situation: She had slipped too deep into the three-meter crevice. Her companions alerted the rescue services.
The woman's feet can be seen in the photos published by the rescue service on Instagram.
Difficult rescue

A large contingent of police, fire and rescue services faced the challenge of getting the 23-year-old out of the situation through a tight "S-curve". With teamwork and special rescue tools, the 500-kilogram boulder was moved and the patient was freed after seven hours.
"She was tired and quite dizzy. Her head was full of blood and her legs were empty, so she couldn't stand and couldn't walk properly at that point," paramedic Peter Watts told CNN.
Nevertheless, she got off lightly with minor scratches and bruises and will probably have to buy a new cell phone.
The phone could not be recovered during the rescue operation.
